Weekend Recap

Happy Monday ladies!!  Hope everyone had an amazing weekend!  My fiance & I went down to San Diego for the weekend with family & had an amazing & relaxing weekend :)

 

We visited Alta Loma Seafood for lunch & took in the amazing view of the harbor.

 We stayed at Humphrey's Half Moon Inn on Shelter Island & I cannot tell you how much I love this hotel!  The ground are beautiful & we felt so peaceful soaking in the views of the bay :)

 

The rooms were really nice & spacious.  

The entrance of the hotel makes you feel like you're a million miles away from Southern California! 

We shared a bottle of wine on this deck with my parents before dinner & didn't want to leave!  So beautiful! 

 

As seen in my previous OOTD post we went to Donovan's for dinner.  Yummy!

Hope you ladies had a wonderful weekend!  We had dinner last night with my fiance's parents & my family at a restaurant called Donovan's located in La Jolla, Ca... I splurged & had lobster & creme brulee!  SOOO yummy!  I definitely recommend it if you're looking for a fancy place to impress or celebrate a special occasion!  The service is truly 5 star.

 

I wore 7 For All Mankind wide leg denim, striped top form H&M, J Crew bubble necklace, Marc Jacobs bag & nude pumps from Target!!

Happy Friday lovelies!!  

Oh am I SO glad the weekend is here!  Work has been extra crazy this week & after working the past 2 nights until 11pm (13 hour days!!), I'm so ready for a day to re-group!  

Today I'm running errands, cleaning, shopping & going to my favorite yoga class.  

After a long week, yoga totally makes me feel so much better & balanced.

The weather has been all over the place in So Cal, so I've been wearing light sweaters or layering.

 

F21 cuffed trousers (similar here), tank from local boutique, Aldo loafers (similar here), Madewell belt, Marc Jacobs bag.

 

 Aqua sweater from Bloomingdales (love love love this sweater!!), LuluLemon leggings, Frye boots, f21 necklace.

On another note, the fiance & I took our engagement photos on Friday & I can't wait to see them & share them with you guys!  We felt kind silly trying to "act natural" in front of the camera, so we will see how they turn out!  Haha hopefully they aren't as awkward as I felt taking them!  ;)

Splurge Vs. Steal

I've had my eye on this J Brand denim jacket with leather sleeves for a while now, but just couldn't bring myself to spend almost $300 on it.

 

That's why I was SO happy when I came across this similar jacket at Urban Outfitters for $79!  I knew I had to share the find with you ladies!

Golden Foodie Awards

Earlier this week I was lucky enough to go to a wonderful event here in Orange County called the Golden Foodie Awards & I wanted to share a few pictures with you guys!  

The awards ceremony looked like the Oscars or the Emmy's!  

It was incredible! 

As you can see I was very impressed by the Patron Fountain ;)

The "OC Housewives" were in attendance!  Lol I've never seen the show, but living on Orange County, I feel like there's an "OC Housewives" siting at least once a week!
