If you live in the OC, then you've probably heard of this new hot spot. Pizzeria Mozza in Newport Beach is the newest restaurant to get foodies buzzing & I've been wanting to see what all the hype was about for a while...
We ordered the caprese salad with burratta & roasted cherry tomatoes, white bean brochette, sage & truffle cheese pizza & banana ice cream pie & salted caramel gelato.
I got a class of pino grigio (@ $12 it was one of the cheapest wines on the list) & my companion got a beer. The bill came to about $90 so be prepared to spend a pretty penny on pizza. Also be prepared for the $8 valet!!
To be honest, it was good, but not great. I still think Pizza Ortica is better (& A LOT cheaper).
