Been wanting these Zara asymmetrical pumps FOREVER.
Unfortunately, looks like Zara has no plans of re-releasing this style... Sigh...
So I decided to "settle" on a pair of Sam Edelman classic pumps I found on sale on Amazon.com for $74!
They're the Edelman Women's Portney Pump in black suede (other colors available, too). CLICK HERE to purchase.
Is anyone else over the platform pump look? I love platform wedges, but have been leaning toward more classic heels lately with less of a "stripper" platform...
I have no idea who this girl is, but she's wearing the Sam Edelman's & she looks hot :)

Great traditional-simple pumps. LOVE. Can't wait to read more of your blog. New follower.

Oh my goshh I've been lusting over those Zara pumps for what feels like forever. Too bad they won't sell them anymore... just like this beautiful dress they used to have but only restocked once and which I obviously failed to purchase. Sigh. But those SE ones are really cool as well! Although the Zara ones are just a little more extraordinary and have this strangely attractive thing to them... probably will never forget them.

LISA! I feel the SAME way! So sad... Christian Louboutin makes an asymmetrical toe-cleavage bearing heel & I don't even like THOSE as much! Sigh... I guess I've learned my lesson (again).

Love the alternative pumps, and I love your blog!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you've found yourself a new follower!!
I still like platforms but also crave more simple heels lately - yours are lovely.
ReplyDeleteThanks Katherine! I still love platforms, too, but love these too because they're more conservative, yet still feel young & sexy :)
ReplyDeleteThose Zara shoes are so sexy, I would definitely have gotten those!

I stumbled across your blog and I had to comment and say I totally agree with you on platform pumps! Ive never really been a fan. Ive been on the hunt for a perfect black pointed toe heel and those Zara ones were my favorite too! Good choice on your Sam Edelmans though!
