Classic Heels

Been wanting these Zara asymmetrical pumps FOREVER.
Unfortunately, looks like Zara has no plans of re-releasing this style... Sigh...

So I decided to "settle" on a pair of Sam Edelman classic pumps I found on sale on Amazon.com for $74!

They're the Edelman Women's Portney Pump in black suede (other colors available, too).  CLICK HERE to purchase.

Is anyone else over the platform pump look?  I love platform wedges, but have been leaning toward more classic heels lately with less of a "stripper" platform...

I have no idea who this girl is, but she's wearing the Sam Edelman's & she looks hot :)

Bolts & Bracelets

I loved this DIY jewelery idea from one of my favorite bloggers A Pair & a Spair & had to share it.  I've been seeing a lot of this "stacked" ring & bracelet look lately & have always loved the look...

What's great about this look is that everything above can be found at a hardware or thrift store :).

Some photos of the "stacked" look below...

Get down to your local hardware store!  I've been seeing BOLTS everywhere lately, too!  Rings, pendants, charms... I love it all.

Tribal Skirts

It officially feels like summertime in SoCal!  I pulled out an old Billabong skirt from last summer & made it "new" by belting it & wearing it with a silky white top & my Grecian gladiator sandals.  I got them two years ago in Greece & I'm not sure if they're even cute anymore (they're made of cloth & pretty thrashed) but they're so sentimental that I still wear them every chance I can get :).

Top from Nordstrom, belt from local boutique, skirt from Billabong, shoes from my trip to Greece, Michael Kors watch, Tiffany ring & necklace, H&M bracelets.

The Look for Less

If you're like me, you're loving that the crochet craze is back in action.  Tons of designers are replicating the look, but you don't have to spend a fortune to get a super cute crochet number to wear this summer.

The Look for Less

The tops above will run you $598 (Ralph Lauren), $330 (Elizabeth & James) & a super steal of $138 (Anthropology).  I'm over spending over $100 on casual tops, so I opted for a more budget friendly version.  The top below is from H&M.  In my opinion, it's even cuter than any of the tops above.  I got it for $29!  :)

In the dressing room pic above I have on a pair of Paige dark denim, but I think this top would be super cute paired with distressed denim cut-offs & a brown belt or a pair of flairs & some wedges.

"flatforms"

Spring/summer's new shoe trend is popping up EVERYWHERE.  I'm just not a fan… maybe in a few months when I see girls pulling off this look i'll sing a different tune, but for now I'm sticking to wedges & sexier heels.  I'm sure they're more comfortable than sky hight wedges, but I doubt "flatforms" as flattering as these sexy numbers:

Christian Louboutin ‘Praia’ wedges

What do you think?

Cat Eyes

This trend is everywhere right now & I must admit that i'm a fan!
Below are some of my favorite celebs & brands trying this look out…
I especially love Ashely Olsen's oversized version of the cat eye!

Ray Ban

Kate Spade

Marc Jacobs

Gucci

Aqua

Michael Kors

Tom Ford

Balenciaga

I'm really loving the Michael Kors version with the metal detail on the sides.  These bad boys can be yours for only $115.

Spring Craving

With all of the spring trends & designer sneak-peaks coming out this month, i've definitely caught a case of SPRING FEVER!  It's a little too early to break out the sun dresses & warm weather looks, but you can incorporate some springtime color into your winter wardrobe!

Below are some of my fav ways to wear some pastel during winter time…

My best friend & I out in Vegas this last weekend (it was her birthday lol).
My turquoise necklace is from Nordstrom.  A bright, fun necklace is a great way to add a pop of color to a LBD!

I'm loving the tangerine lip trend & think it's a great way to add some color to a winter white complexion.

Loving these pastel nails!  It's a little too early for pastel pink, but the blue says winter wonderland to me!

I spotted these Jessica Simpson pumps at Nordstrom last week & thought they were a really fun way to add a pop of color to an outfit.  Usually, i'm not a patent leather person, but I love the mixing of materials & the price-tag doesn't hurt either (less than $100)!

Ombre Hair

It's time for a change!  I've decided to give the ombre hair-color trend a try & go in today for some root darkening.  This low maintenance, more natural look is not only beautiful but WAY better for your hair than bleaching.  Wish me luck!
